Poster design has always fascinated me. It’s the perfect fusion of the two disciplines I love – art and design. This 20 by 28 inch, commemorative gig poster was inspired by one of my favorite bands. Initially, it started as a sketch many years ago. When I took printmaking, particularly screenprinting, I allowed myself to revisit this as both a digital and analog print. Illustration, color layering, and handmade type are driving forces in my design process.
